Industrial Solar System Price in Pakistan: Equipment for Factories

Industrial solar system price in Pakistan is largely an equipment bill: panels, inverters and, for sites with critical loads, battery storage. EGS supplies that equipment to factories and warehouses across Pakistan: Aiko Comet panels, Sungrow commercial string inverters and Sigenergy SigenStack storage. Your EPC contractor designs and builds the plant. Send us your load and we suggest the models and quote today's price.

Industrial solar plant on a factory site
  • Large-format panels

Aiko Comet 3N72 modules at 655–690 W mean fewer panels, clamps and cable runs per kW.

  • Inverters up to 350 kW

Sungrow SG125CX-P2 and SG150CX for factory roofs, and the SG350HX-20 for large plants with their own transformer.

  • Made for harsh sites

The SG125CX-P2 carries IP66 and C5 anti-corrosion ratings, useful in dusty industrial estates and on the coast.

  • Storage that grows

SigenStack adds battery modules as your backup needs grow.

What makes up the industrial solar system price in Pakistan

A factory solar quote covers the main equipment plus the balance of system. EGS supplies the main equipment: panels, inverters and battery storage. Your EPC contractor supplies and prices the rest: mounting structure, DC and AC cable, combiner boxes, protection devices, earthing and lightning protection, LT panel or transformer work, generator controls, labour and engineering.

This is why two quotes for the same kW can be far apart. Buy or price the main equipment separately and you can compare EPC quotes on their own scope, with the panel and inverter models fixed.

Sizing a solar system for factory loads

Start from the units you use in daylight. A rough rule for Pakistan is that each kW of panels produces about 125 units a month on average, varying by region and season. Treat it as an estimate, since dust, winter fog, roof angle and shade all change the figure.

Example: a factory using 30,000 units a month, with about 70% of that in the day shift, uses roughly 21,000 units in daylight. Divided by 125, that points to about 170 kW of panels. A plant running day and evening shifts uses more of its solar on site than one that closes at 5pm.

For the inverter side, a 400 kW array could run on three SG125CX-P2 units or two SG150CX units. Several inverters keep part of the plant running if one trips. The SG125CX-P2 has 12 MPPTs, which helps on sites with sheds facing different directions. Your EPC contractor sets the final DC/AC ratio.

Solar, generators and the grid together

Most factories in Pakistan switch between grid supply and diesel generators. A grid-tied inverter must not push power back into a running generator, so the plant needs a controller that limits solar output to what the load is using while the generator runs. Ask your EPC contractor which controller they use and confirm it supports your Sungrow inverter model.

Ask them to check power factor too. When solar supplies most of the active power, the power factor at the DISCO meter can drop, and poorly set capacitor banks can lead to penalties on an industrial bill.

Battery storage for industrial sites

SigenStack is Sigenergy's modular battery storage system for commercial and industrial use. Capacity grows by adding battery modules, and it runs with Sigenergy's own hybrid inverter.

Factories use storage to carry critical processes through short outages, cover the gap while generators start, cut generator running hours and move daytime solar into an evening shift. Send us your outage pattern and the loads that must stay on, and we suggest a SigenStack configuration and send the datasheet.

What to ask your EPC contractor

Good equipment can still underperform with weak engineering. Ask for these before you sign.

  • A single-line diagram, cable sizing and voltage-drop calculations.
  • A structural check of the roof, especially metal-sheet roofs on steel trusses in older industrial estates.
  • Corrosion-resistant hardware and cable routes for dusty and coastal sites.
  • The generator integration method and the controller model.
  • A commissioning test report at handover.
  • Who files the net billing application with your DISCO, and a cleaning plan for industrial dust.

Net billing for industrial connections

Net metering in Pakistan was replaced by net billing under NEPRA's Prosumer Regulations 2026, in force since 9 February 2026. Imported units are billed at your industrial tariff, and exported units on Sundays and holidays are credited at a lower rate. Size the plant to your daytime load, since units used on site are worth more than units exported.

Larger plants can need extra technical review from your DISCO before connection. You or your EPC contractor file the application. EGS does not file it, but we provide the panel, inverter and storage datasheets it needs.

Frequently asked questions

What is the industrial solar system price in Pakistan today?

It depends on plant size, equipment models, storage and your EPC contractor's scope, and equipment prices move with the dollar. WhatsApp us your load or equipment list and we send today's price for the panels, inverters and storage.

Do you sell to EPC contractors and installers?

Yes. We supply Aiko panels, Sungrow inverters and Sigenergy SigenStack storage to factory owners and to the installers and EPC contractors building their plants.

Does EGS install or survey industrial plants?

No. EGS is an equipment supplier. Your EPC contractor surveys the site, designs and installs the plant. We help you choose the right models for your load.

Which Sungrow inverter suits a 500 kW factory plant?

On a 400 V supply, the usual option is several SG125CX-P2 or SG150CX units in parallel. Plants with their own medium-voltage transformer can use the SG350HX-20. The right mix depends on roof layout and your EPC contractor's design. Send the design and we suggest the models.

Does EGS handle the net metering application?

No. You or your EPC contractor file the net billing application with your DISCO. We provide the equipment datasheets the application needs.

Do you supply factories in Punjab, KP and Balochistan?

Yes. We supply businesses across Pakistan from our office in Bahadurabad, Karachi. Ask about delivery to your city or industrial estate when you request a quote.
